We are committed to making the online currency exchange experience easy and convenient while managing your foreign currency transactions. We are happy to share an updated design and mobile-friendly update for the VBCE Online platform.

The update includes design elements and functionality updates. Here are some highlights:

You can easily see the transfer's progression from entering the transaction's request, approval, quote and summary.

Below you see a quick transfer quote with the option in the blue button to ACCEPT or DECLINE the quote for the transaction:

In addition you can see from the confirmations below that you have full transaction records for your transfers and international payments including the rate for the currency exchange:

Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I access the beta version of VBCE Online? A: The image below shows in the red area where the login for the platform's beta version can be found. Click on the blue Login text, and you will be taken to the platform's Beta version.

Q: Is this for personal or business accounts? A: The update will be for both types of accounts, business accounts and individual accounts

Q: What is changing? A: Below are the main features/changes of the updated platform for business and individual accounts:

  • The design look and feel is refreshed.
  • The platform is now mobile device friendly. No app is needed, and it is designed to be used easily on a mobile device and a desktop computer.
  • Customers paying with a bill payment or E-transfer will now use the “Send Payments” module; you can no longer use the “Quick Transfer.”
  • There is a new payment history module to view all your outgoing payments, along with the option to download a PDF of the details.
  • More reliable password recovery email and transaction confirmation emails
  • A new help documents section to view how-to guides
  • A new look for the transaction confirmation PDF

Q: What is changing for Business accounts? A: The main features/changes specific to business accounts aside from the above points include:

  • Customers with multiple funding accounts can now pay with more than one account in the same transaction with the Quote and Book module.
  • A faster way to enter multiple payments at a time with the Send Payments module
  • Smoother functionality for forward contract bookings and drawdowns
  • A more user-friendly Add a Payee module

Q: What is changing for Individual accounts? A: The main features/changes specific to individual accounts aside from the above points

  • Ability to send funds to multiple payee accounts in the same transaction with the Send Payments module

Q: What isn’t changing? A: Some items won’t be changing; these include:

  • Main functionalities of the modules
  • Module names (Quick Transfer, Send Payments, Quote and Book, etc.)
  • Transaction times and how VBCE processes your transactions internally
  • Approval Policies functionality for business accounts

Q: Is there a recommendation on how and when to try out the new platform? A: We recommend all customers try out the new site at some point in the next few weeks and contact us if they cannot complete a transaction as before.

  • During the BETA testing stage, reported system issues will be worked out, and new functionalities may be added or existing functionalities enhanced.
  • We expect this BETA testing stage to last 4-6 weeks before we switch to the new platform. We will send you an email notification when this will happen so you are aware of the update.

Q: Is the VBCE Online App also changing? 

A: No, these changes and updates are only available on the browser version of the platform, access it from the web browser login.

Q: Is the App able to be used after this launch? A: No, if you currently use the VBCE Online App you should plan to use the web version via your mobile device starting December 7th. The platform update is mobile-friendly and easy to use on your mobile device.
