The FX Trader position is an incredibly important role at VBCE. In this sales role, you are the face of the company dealing with a multitude of transactions and interacting with our clients that put their trust in you. As a valued member of the VBCE team, you will help people with different products and services that we offer on a daily basis.

Job Description:

• Work towards the achievement of sales target for foreign currency products and services by applying consultative sales and service principles, practices and techniques in order to originate new business with new and existing clients. • To develop and implement a rolling 3 to 6 month sales plan. • Carry out Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals orders. • Monitor live rates for clients • Problem solve inquiries and suggest the most appropriate solutions and best service options for clients • Willingness and ability to drive, and to be accountable for sales success, is essential. • Provide professional quality service to clients. Accept purchase/sale orders in courteous, professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Resolves issues and reports any discrepancies to supervisor/director. • Provides input to development and achievement of team objectives

Job Requirements:

• Broad knowledge and understanding of foreign currency products and services. • Excellent customer service skills. • Sales oriented, must develop a plan to prospect for new business • Participate in networking and trade show events • Goal and achievement orientated. • Exceptional telephone and communication skills. • Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards. • Analytical and problem solving skills • Resourceful, patient and resilient. Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
